BRAND CONCEPT

실수에서 비롯되 드러날 수 있는 우연의 미학을 포착하고 담아내려는 브랜드입니다. 기존의 테일러링 방식에서 벗어나 순서를 역순으로 진행하여 만든 바지의 실루엣이나, 안감에서 보여지는 프린트의 강렬함이 겉감의 느낌을 방해하는 듯, 그러한 '잘못된'것만 같은 요소들을 섞은 브랜드입니다. 그저 재밌고 이쁜옷인줄 알았는데 안을 뒤집어보거나 자세히보니 숨은 디테일의 스토리텔링이 발각되는 걸 상상하며 작업한다. 우연한 실수에서 비롯한 요소를 활용해 재미있는 디테일로 탈바꿈시키는, 불편한 실수의 기억들을 아름답게 승화시키는 브랜드입니다.

Jinjonjam is womenswear based brand, capturing mistakes from ordinary life days. 'Failure is accepted' is one of the brand's aesthetic through the collection. Conventional looks in distorted silhouettes, wrong-way of tailoring process onto garments, strong colours crashing together is what i enjoy, making my own definition of story-telling.
