서울을 기반으로 하는 디자이너 브랜드 F8KE CHEMICAL CLUB은 2020년 크리에이티브 디렉터 박정은에 의해 런칭 되었습니다. 화학 실험에서 어떤 예측 불가능하고 놀라운 결과가 나올 지 모른다는 아이디어에서 착안해 차별화되고 과감한 아이템들을 자체 디자인, 생산해 내고 있습니다. 매 시즌 어떠한 주제에 대한 영감과 깊은 사유는 예상 밖의 디자인을 끼얹어 3차원 모델로 주저없이 구현되며 30-40년 경력의 패턴, 봉제 전문가들의 마무리로 힘을 더합니다. 페이크 케미컬 클럽은 타인의 시선과 관심을 즐기고 갈망하는 사람들을 위한 디자인을 전개하며 이들이 페이크 케미컬 클럽을 통해 더 용감하고 도전적인 자세를 가지고 잠재적인 가능성들을 발현해 내는데 도움이 되었으면 합니다. 상업성에 앞서 고유의 아이덴티티를 쌓아가고 새로운 시도를 겁내지 않습니다. 옷을 고르는 행위를 삶의 중요한 부분으로 여기며 페이크 케미컬 클럽을 입는 사람들이 의도한 대로 대중의 시선을 끌고, 그 시선을 기분 좋게 즐겼으면 하는 바람 입니다. 디렉터는 브랜드가 패션의 어떠한 하나의 카테고리로 정의되기 보다 정체성을 가진 하나의 아트 아카이브 혹은 옷을 통해 어떤 주제에 대해 목소리를 낼 수 있는 영향력있는 브랜드로 성장하기를 바랍니다.
F8KE CHEMICAL CLUB is a Seoul-New York based genderless designer label. Founded in 2020 by Creative Director, Jeong Eun Park, the brand shows an unexpected combination of bold design with exclusive material and unregulated details. Without hesitation, they graft wild fabric to visualize ideas and value in innovative, three dimensional models. She loves making clothes for aspiring young artists with expressive design. Director Park describes her brand as an “applied art archive” and “an eye-catching gem.” Everything that she hears, sees, all of her emotions in every moment is related to her liberating art pieces. Her collections are based on her reality, but also her dreams and surreal visions. Armed with collections that combine Park's experiences, vision and passion, F8KE CHEMICAL CLUB uses its voice and platform to dare others to be brave, reach their fullest potential and be great.
